GETTING STARTED
STEP ONE
1. Click Start, Click My Computer, Open Local Disk (c), and create new Folder Example 1
Name your folder My Webpage you can change this later if you want to. Create a shortcut on your desktop for easy access.
You should now have an empty folder named My Webpage. Example 2
STEP TWO
2. Open Notepad this is where you will create your first Page
Type in everything you see Example 3
Now Save As index.htm Save this file to your Webpage folder
Open your webpage folder and click your saved page you should now have a webpage that looks like this Example 4
STEP THREE
3.To make your next webpage so that we can create a link to it, follow these instructions. Copy and paste your first page rename it pg 2 index.htm

You should now have two web pages exactly the same.
Right Click your first web page and open with notepad Example 6
Now we can add a link to your next page, add the highlighted text into your first web page Example 7
Close the page and save changes, Reopen your page you should now have a link Click here that takes you to your second web page
